Whether it’s the rose that grew from concrete or the phoenix rising from the ashes, KCC’s Founder believes there’s always room for growth.

James “Vandal” Watson grew up in Swindon Town, England, raised by a single mother who gave up her dream of fashion and design to support her family as a hairdresser. Even though it wasn’t her passion, she passed her creative spirit on to James—encouraging him to find expression through art.

FROM “LITTLE VANDAL” TO CREATIVE FORCE

As a kid, James was full of mischief and imagination. His mum nicknamed him “Vandal”—a cheeky nod to his constant curiosity and chaos.

Eventually, graffiti became his outlet, and hip hop culture offered him the community and edge he craved.

He struggled in school but found a second chance in the U.S., where he finished high school and later joined the Navy. While stationed overseas, a call from his mum changed everything—his younger brother Jacob had been diagnosed with autism and muscular dystrophy.

James made a vow: to build a life and a brand that would give him the freedom to care for his brother.

THE BIRTH OF KINGDOM CLOTHING CO.

In 2008, James returned to the U.S. and settled in Jacksonville, Florida. Inspired by his mum’s dream, his love of art, and a desire to build something bigger than himself—Kingdom Clothing Co. was born.

He began printing and selling tees at music shows and art fairs. KCC became a message in motion: a brand rooted in positivity, resilience, and purpose.

Then tragedy struck again.

In 2011, James lost his younger brother Jacob. He was only 12.

That heartbreak became fuel.

KCC became more than a brand—it became a tribute, a movement, a mission.

PRINT KINGDOM: CRAFTED WITH PURPOSE

As KCC grew, James launched Print Kingdom, a custom screen printing and branding shop focused on handcrafted quality. The mission: support other creatives, brands, and businesses with high-end merch made by artists, for artists.

Now, Print Kingdom operates under the Kingdom Clothing Co. banner—bringing screen printing, heat transfer, and brand consulting together into one creative ecosystem.
